Objectives of MEU:
a. Implementation of new MBBS curriculum as per MCI mandate in phased manner
b. Conducting CISP workshops for all faculties of Dr. RMLIMS.
c. To conduct periodic workshops on Revised Basic AETCOM module for all faculty of Dr. RMLIMS, as per the MCI mandate
d. Faculty development programs and teaching/learning resource
Activities: First Curriculum Implementation Support Program (CISP) workshop for training of in-house faculty of Dr. RMLIMS, is being planned for May 30th to June 1st, 2019. Trained faculty is available to teach this module ( ie. members of Curriculum Development Committee, who have been trained at our nodal centre KGMU, Lucknow).
A Curriculum Development Committee was constituted (Ref. to: letter no. 267/Director camp/Dr. RMLIMS/2019; dated April 15th 2019 and letter no. 409/Director camp/Dr. RMLIMS/2019; dated 24th April 2019), as per MCI mandate, details of which are as follows:

1. As per NMC, the Curriculum Committee will ensure implementation and monitoring of Curriculum and time table scheduling at RMLIMS and follow guidelines as suggested by NMC.
2. All Curriculum Committee members including Principal / Dean should have undegone MCI/NMC revised basic course workshop in MET or Basic Course in Medical Education (BCME) at their allocated Nodal Center (NC) / Regional Center (RC) (Note: if they are not already trained at NC/RC, they must get trained within 06 months on a priority basis).
3. Curriculum Committee Members should also possess additional qualification of ACME/FAIMER/MHPE/Dip.Med Ed etc as specified
4. There should be a quarterly meeting of Curriculum Committee in RMLIMS every year and the report shall be submitted to the respective NC/RC witing a month of the meeting conveners of NC/RC shall forward a consolidated report to Academic Cell, UGMEB every quarter and highlight any issue of concern in the allocated colleges.
